Artist:
Runhe (born Sun Jinjin in 1991) is a young Chinese traditional painter, art instructor, and founder of Runhe Art Studio. She is a member of the Shandong Provincial Artists Association. Her work primarily focuses on flower-and-bird and landscape themes, blending realistic and freehand styles. Her paintings capture the vividness and structural precision of realism while retaining the poetic charm and negative space of freehand painting, making them suitable for modern interior design and worthy of repeated viewing. Runhe focuses on the subtle yet authentic beauty found in nature and daily life: the vitality of flowers and birds, the serene vastness of landscapes, and the breath of the changing seasons. She hopes her works are not only “pleasing to the eye” but also evoke a sense of calm and relaxation, inviting viewers to spend time with them over the long term. Her childhood passion for reading and painting has taught her to cherish the light and warmth of life.
Beyond her artistic practice, she actively engages in charitable work: she has raised funds for underprivileged children and patients through charity sales and donations of her artwork, and has donated paintings to local temples. For her, painting is a form of enduring expression—a way to imbue her brushstrokes with beauty and goodwill. Runhe maintains a steady creative output and is constantly striving to learn and improve. Her works have been selected for the provincial exhibition of the Shandong Aesthetics Association (2025), establishing her as an artist with great potential.
